"Eyedentity" provides a meditative space to honor wisdom that only confronting trauma and systematic oppression can harvest, all while highlighting the possibilities ahead for emotional and spiritual liberation. These works transports viewers on an inward journey celebrating the diversity of Black healing narratives. Each portraiture captures both the joyful and painful complexities of untangling one's roots across the African diaspora to arrive at a more holistic sense of self and community.
