Steele Haus’s website and related services are made available to you in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions, and any other rules posted on our Sites. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before placing any orders on www.steelehaus.com.

Steele Haus is a  company registered in the U.S.

In particular, we wish to draw your attention to our policies relating to the terms of purchase within the Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. By visiting our site or using any part of the site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. We may modify the Terms & Conditions from time to time.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. Steele Haus does not accept credit card purchases to people under the age of 18. We reserve the right to deny or change a Customer’s order (for example, if the Customer has provided incorrect personal data or and/or has any record for non-payment of debt). We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We are not liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

PRODUCTS OR SERVICES

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected

PAYMENT

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the Site from time to time. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your order by Steele Haus. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to Steele Haus, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure, Steele Haus uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Shipping

Orders outside the U.S. are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis, meaning that all taxes and duties are excluded in the final price. Your order may therefore be subject to local taxes and import duties, which are levied by your local customs authority or the used shipping carrier. We are unable to calculate the exact amount in duties and taxes your order might incur, as these charges are imposed directly by the US and UK customs and postal code. Steele Haus does not cover any such taxes, duties or related charges. Taxes and duties incurred on refused or unclaimed packages are not covered by Steele Haus.

DELAYS

Steele Haus is not liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, e.g. general labour dispute, extreme weather, pandemics, acts of war, fire, lightning, terrorist attacks, changed governmental orders, technical problems, defects in power- /tele-/computer communications or other communication and defects or delays in the service by sub-suppliers due to circumstances set forth above. Such circumstances shall result in relief from damages and other measures. If any such situation should arise, Steele Haus shall inform the Customer accordingly both at the beginning and the end of the period for the current situation. If the situation has lasted for more than four months, both the Customer and Steele Haus are entitled to terminate the purchase with immediate effect.

RETURNS

We accept returns and exchanges made within 8 days after delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please remember that you are held accountable for any damages that may occur during the return shipment, please pack it well. The shipping costs for the initial delivery and the return are for the customer. To return your product, first send an email to info@steelehaus.com with your order number and request. After confirmation from us, you can send your product to the address provided. If you’re returning from a country outside the U.S., please state clearly on the parcel that the shipment is a RETURN ORDER. If you fail to do so there will be import duty or taxes that we will balance with your order. When you send a package back to us, please make sure to use a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for any lost packages. We reserve the right to deny credit if the package returned to us is damaged or incomplete or does not meet our return policy requirements in any other way.

CLAIMS & WARRANTY

For complaints due to quality issues please contact us through info@steelehaus.com and send us detailed pictures and descriptions of what is wrong with the item along with your ORDER NUMBER (found in the order confirmation e-mail). E-mail to info@steelehaus.com.

DAMAGED GOODS

Small cracks can be part of the design, depending on the texture/pattern of the artwork. Larger cracks that reveal different, underlaying colors and materials should be reported. Each order comes with a repair kit for emergencies.

Be sure to check the goods for any damage when you receive the delivery. Goods with visible external shipping damage should be claimed from us, you have to have the damage noted on your bill of lading from the shipping company in connection with the receipt. Ask the driver to note the damage. If you discover hidden defects / transport damages after opening the package, communicate this as soon as possible to Steele Haus. If any transport damage, contact info@steelehaus.com and attach clear pictures of the damage and possibly damaged packaging in an email with your order number. For us to be able to claim damaged goods to the shipping company, we need to notify transport damage to the shipping company within 1-3 business days. We are therefore grateful if you report the damage within that time.
